DayThree: JESUS 2012

For me the best way that I can express myself and express my emotions in prayer is through writing to God. A lot of the things that I post here are from my journal entries throughout the day. I tend to write... a lot.
Today as I was writing to God this is what I wrote, and the revelation and words that he spoke back to me:

"Father I pray that Kony, and those in the LRA will see the heavenly realms. That you will reveal to them your angels. That as they see this glimpse of heaven Kony's knee will bow and tongue confess that you are Lord of all! Through this heavenly experience the captives will be set free, and when April 20th hits Kony will not be made famous, but Jesus will be made famous!! We are called (all of us) to make HIS name known. Through fame you gain riches, influence, and impact. Are we going to choose to bring fame to Kony, or choose to bring fame to the one who deserves all the glory. Rather then making Kony's name known on the streets why don't we make our heavenly father's name known? Make Jesus Famous!"

Dictionary Definitions
Fame: Widespread reputation, especially of favorable character; renown, public eminance; celebrated.
Eminance: High station or rank, a high place or part, a title of honor.

Do we want to give favor to Kony? Or honor him? Celebrate him? Rank him higher?
Making Kony famous could be dangerous, but if we believe that this man is saved in the name of Jesus, then the glory and honor will be brought directly to Jesus. We will give him all of the honor, and all of the glory, for His great works.

"Those who honor me I will honor" 1 Samuel 2:30

Famine------>Fame
Is this famine, am I in a famine, no today God proved to be that I am full, I am full of his love, and through that love he gives me so much strength to get through my day, strength to get through every workout, strength to stay healthy and alive. I am well fed. But when we are in a famine are we going to choose to put all things aside, or are we going to choose to bring fame to the Father. I choose to say no to what society sees as okay and say yes to what the Lord says that I am, and what he is calling me to be.

"Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? Shall hardship, or prosecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger or sword?" Romans 8:35
